Experience
- Designed the zero-to-one agent experience for SciSpace — unified PaperTable, Deep Review, and Insight generation into a coherent agentic layer; ARR doubled within 7 months of launch.
- Built the SciSpace Design System from scratch; accelerated design-to-dev cycles and established scalable component foundations for the agent interface.
- Defined Human-in-the-Loop interaction flows — collaborating with NLP and engineering to flatten tool-call hierarchy and reduce cognitive load in agent flows.
- Owned end-to-end QC pipeline: managed frontend engineering tickets, ran QC cycles actively, and guided QC team on bug prioritisation and ticket triage.
- Led critical product decisions independently — credits & add-ons purchase flows, artefact structures (Reports, PaperTable, Web results, Code Snippets), file management with bulk export, citations system, and post-credit exhaustion flows.
- Scoped and prioritised frontend execution from start to finish; coordinated with engineering and product to translate design specs into practical, shippable GUI.
- Shaped the brand design layer and contributed to marketing direction in parallel with core product work.
- Designed Guardian by PhonePe from zero to one — an end-to-end Risk Operating System for fintech orgs and banks, comprising a no-code real-time rule engine, shadow mode experimentation, ML-based fraud detection, smart case management integrated with govt. fraud reporting, and a centralised graph network for pattern analysis.
- Designed a Component Dependency Graph tool for service mesh visualisation, real-time anomaly detection, alert noise reduction, and root cause analysis during outages — with context-aware dependency data per use case.
- Designed a Generalised Authentication & Authorisation system powering almost all PhonePe production products.
- Built an Enterprise Design System on top of Ant Design, standardising all public-facing enterprise applications; established a designer-developer collaboration framework adopted across the org.
- Designed an Alert Management System with a no-code interface for PMs to configure business alerts and monitor on-call live updates; also introduced platform fees on recharges — a first-in-industry feature — while leading the Recharge & Bill Pay pod.
- Conceptualised and shipped a zero-to-one Sales Funnel management tool for MSP IT sales — integrated CRM, Quote Builder, Technical Assessments, Reports, and Analytics — resulting in 100+ paying customers in under a year and a $4.1M raise in early 2020.
- As first hire, built the brand identity and design system from scratch, enabling product-market penetration in under 4 months.
- Led research and design of a drag-and-drop document editor — the flagship feature — allowing customers to build sales proposals with text, media, e-signatures, and real-time distributor pricing; drove maximum sales conversions.
- Delivered 50+ feature prototypes for onboarding and demos, contributing to 10× month-on-month growth in traffic and customer signups.
- Ran weekly Design Sprints, managed IA with product and engineering, attended customer calls to capture feedback, and kept design consistently ahead of engineering for smoother deployments.
